"It is He Who gives life and causes death"

Life and death are in the hand of Allah (azza wa-jall). As the holy Quran says :  ھُوَالَّذِي يُحْيِي وَيُمِيت
(It is He Who gives life and causes death.)
It's only Allah (azza wa-jall) Who has the power of giving life and causing death. Except Allah (azza wa-jall) no sun, no moon, no water, no any other things which exist in the world have this power.
This is the sterling faith of a believer (in Allah) that Allah has granted us life and He will give us death. After having this faith, the fear of death must be thrown from the heart, and the whole mind should be concentrated upon doing the righteous deeds that will be beneficial in the life of hereafter. So when a person dies, all his deeds come to an end except for three things:
1) Sadqa Jariyah ( continues charity).
2) Knowledge which will benefit others.
3) A righteous child who pray for him.
it is up to us to strive to acquire, above everything, the priceless possession of this dauntless faith, to do righteous and good deeds and to make Sadqa jariya that will be beneficial for us in the life hereafter.
